Getting crafty...

I spent the weekend in Birmingham visiting one of my best friends and meeting her 2 month old daughter--what a treat! We had a great, low-key weekend. One of my favorite things that we did was make wreaths. I have to brag on them for a sec because I think they came out so cute. Ashley saw the idea on Pinterest (so the credit goes to her) and we decided to give it a try.

Basically, you just need a styrofoam wreath, straight pins and burlap. Once you have the wreath created, there are ENDLESS ways to decorate them for fall, holidays, etc. I just love them!

I'm planning to hang mine instead during Christmas. I have a thick red ribbon that I will hang it from and it will coordinate well with my burlap Christmas tree skirt and topiaries.

Once we got started and kinda figured it out, it didn't take long at all. I'm feeling very crafty this Monday morning!
