EATING- We are working on adding another solid feeding per day so that will mean 3 solid feedings per day and 5 bottles each. I think we are going to try apples next.
SLEEPING- We are starting to form a more rigid nap schedule. Ideally, we would like to have a good morning nap and a good afternoon nap but life with twins make synchronized naps a little more challenging. Mac definitely likes his afternoon nap but Mae seems to wake up early from that nap. I think she has figured out if she wakes up early that she will get one-on-one attention which she loves. The last 3 nights have been great for sleeping. Dr. Ladd said that if Mac keeps waking up, it's time to let him fuss longer but fortunately, things have gone pretty well this week. We did have to let him fuss one night but it only lasted 15 minutes. The fussing is just hard because then of course, it wakes up Mae and becomes a cycle back and forth.
ACTIVITIES-Mac is obsessed with his "spaceship" as we call it. It's the Baby Einstein Activity Jumper--he will bounce in that thing for an hour and squeal. Mae doesn't really bounce but will grab and play with all the toys. Mae also loves books and loves for someone to read to her. They received their two new books this week (compliments of Dolly Parton :)) and they seem to really enjoy them already.
MILESTONES- Nothing new other than Mae's two teeth and surviving 6 month shots.
COMING UP NEXT- BEACH!
