Today, little Rexy has to have surgery for his luxating patella which is basically a congenital knee condition in dogs. For those of you who don't know, Rex is my mom and dad's maltipoo and Howie's best friend:). Since Rex is so tiny, the vets have decided it would be best to just remove his knee cap entirely. So, although the surgery seems pretty common and he has the best vets on earth, it's still scary for your precious pup to have surgery. We are all thinking about Rex today---I'll keep you posted on his recovery! He's such a cute one...

Thanks, Mo. Vet just called, Rex's surgery was a success, and he'll be home on Friday. Hopefully by the time Howie comes for a visit, Rex will be recovered ready to chase Howie around as usual.
