Wow!  January 5- May 5, 2012---where has it all gone?

EATING-Mac is still consistently eating 5-6 oz per bottle. "Miss Mae" eats about 4 oz per bottle on average. She will eat 3 oz some feedings and 5 oz other feedings--you just never know. She seems like she's not a big breakfast eater. After sleeping all night, at 6am, she's still not ready for her bottle. Total contrast from her brother who is DEFINITELY ready for his morning bottle. But, Mae seems to eat very well at her night bottles which is good.

SLEEPING- We are staying pretty consistent with sleep. We still do a 10pm feeding and then don't feed again until 6am.Mae is pretty consistent every night. Sometimes she will cry out in her sleep but her eyes are still closed and she falls back to sleep quickly. Mac is doing great but tends to wake up more.  He will cry out, lose his pacifier, etc. but his good nights seem to out weigh his bad nights so I'm not complaining.

ACTIVITIES- Mac is really starting to make more noise. He does these long coos and its so cute how much he will move his arms and legs when he gets excited. Mae has become all smiles lately. It's so funny--she does these subtle but really funny open mouth smiles that I just love. Even in these pictures, you can see their personalities starting to evolve. I could be totally surprised but I think Mac is going to be Mr. Calm, Cool & Steady and Mae is going to be Miss Funny, Silly & Sassy. We'll see:).

MILESTONES- Mac laughed this morning!  It was precious. I can't wait for him to do it again. They are both doing a really good job of holding their heads up and their eye contact is really improving. Mae can stare at you and really focus for long periods of time. They both are really responsive to Phillip and my voices as well as music. They are starting to really love one-on-one attention.

COMING UP NEXT- Doctor's appointment on Monday...

Such a fun age! They are still babies small enough to be cuddled but are developing personalities and trying to communicate, but not mobile so that you are chasing them around the house. So much fun to look back at the beginning of your blog at the pictures and see how much they have grown. Can't wait to hear about their "weigh in" on Monday.
